Hail King Mark!

The Royal Guild of Adventurers

The primary purpose of the RGA is to support the King in all he does and to support the institutions of the State. All members (characters) in the Royal Guild of Adventurers must be "Crown Loyal" (that is, fanatically devoted to the King and the Crown).

Founder's Council

The day-to-day administration of the Guild is handled by the leaders, known as the First and Second Royal Adventurers. Major decisions concerning the guild are made by the Founders Council which consists of the guild leaders plus 10 leading members.

There are few hard and fast rules concurring the council but decision are expected to be made by consensus or in extreme cases by a three quarters majority (nine). The council usually meets to discus changes and confirm or overturn decisions made by the leadership. Usually the council will debate the list of allowed other guilds for joint membership, hear cases for expulsion from the guild, fill vacant council seats and appoint the Second Royal Adventurer. The Second Royal Adventurer automatically becomes leader of the guild if the leader dies (but may of course decline the honour).

Current Council

First Royal Adventurer: Baronness Miranda - Female Human Enchantress (Jeremy Baxter)
Second Royal Adventurer: Lady Scathach (Dave Townend)

  • Baron Axomin - Male Enchanter (Mark Howe)
  • Lord Farquam - Male Human Enchanter (Kevin Fullard)
  • Talia D'Arelon - Elven Warrior Maiden (Clive Weldon)
  • Ansr'ali - Elven Warrior Maiden (Andrew Stott)
  • Malath Sagmoz - Male Human Priest (Paul Baxter)
  • Lady Rani Dacoit - Crown Loyal Adventurer (Jon Eliot)
  • Jysika Ad-Malar (Chris Butler)
  • Thom Geiger (Will Masters)

    Notes on Gameplay

Debates of the council are expected to be carried out in character. There may be cases where "real world" issues need to be discussed but most of the time it is hoped we can keep it all "in game." The leader and deputy leader character must be run by different players and as a general rule players should have only one Founders Council seat (maximum two) to keep the guild as inclusive as possible.
